Statistics of the activity of the National Mediator Network

Mediators of the National Mediator Network for the period 2017-1st half of 2020 was spent:

National mediator network of the Public Organization "La Strada-Ukraine" is a voluntary association of mediators who have completed a training program (at least 40 academic hours) and have the appropriate certification and share the values of the NGO "La Strada-Ukraine".

The National Mediator Network started its activities in September 2015. The National Mediator Network includes more than 500 mediators from 12 regions of Ukraine (Vinnytsia, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhya, Luhansk, Poltava, Kharkiv, Kherson, Cherkasy, Odesa, Kyiv and Kyiv). The activity covers the entire territory of Ukraine

The National Mediation Network was created by the Public Organization "La Strada-Ukraine" to promote non-violent conflict resolution, help conflict parties find a mutually acceptable solution to the situation, build peace and protect human rights; combating violence, gender discrimination, human trafficking and child abuse, etc.

The composition of the National Mediator Network may change by excluding or adding new members who meet the requirements of mediators of the National Mediator Network.

The National Mediator Network was created 207 Services of understanding, which included 2 935 peer mediators (1 058 boys and 1877 girls), who are students of secondary, vocational, technical and higher education institutions.

Peer mediators - these are students who have undergone special training in the basic skills of a mediator of an educational institution and practice solving conflicts peacefully with the help of mediation.

Service of understanding of the educational institution is a voluntary association of students and teacher mediators.
