The IX periodic report of non-governmental organizations on the implementation of the Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women is being prepared.

The memorandum on the cooperation of women's and feminist organizations and initiatives in the joint preparation and advocacy of an independent report on monitoring Ukraine's fulfillment of its obligations under the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (IX Periodic Report) is open for signature by link.

 

The purpose of the Memorandum is to consolidate the efforts of non-governmental women's and feminist organizations and initiatives, women's and feminist initiative groups of associations of people/women with disabilities, professional unions, and other non-governmental organizations aimed at monitoring national obligations to implement the recommendations of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination regarding women, joint preparation and advocacy of conclusions and recommendations of the performed monitoring, joint preparation of an independent report.

 

We invite organizations, proactive women's and feminist groups that share the goal of the Memorandum and are interested in cooperation to join.
