"What were you wearing?"
"What were you wearing?"
This is a question that is often heard in one form or another by people who have experienced sexual assault.
In reality, a person's clothing, appearance, or behavior is never the cause of violence against them. The decision and responsibility for it always lies with the perpetrator.
NGO “Girls” begins collecting testimonies for the exhibition "What were you wearing?"If you have experienced sexual assault, sexual harassment, or other forms of gender-based violence, you can share your story.
We want these stories to help society see what often remains untold due to shame and blame. Every story is important to us. At the same time, we ask that you only share what you are willing to tell. Including your story in the exhibition does not require excessive detail or revealing details that you do not want to indicate.
The form is anonymous and participation is voluntary.
⚠️ The questions in the form can be emotionally challenging. Please take care of yourself and only share what you are comfortable sharing.
