How to communicate safely, sensitively, and effectively with children affected by domestic violence?

What stabilization and calming techniques can be used to work with children both over the phone and in person?

What myths and stereotypes exist around domestic violence situations against children that prevent them from receiving proper support and help?

How has the war affected the ability to identify children affected by domestic violence?

This is what 26 specialists from 18 Resilience Centers from all over Ukraine learned and learned about during the training conducted by experts from the NGO "La Strada-Ukraine" on the educational and methodological training "Effective response to children's appeals during war, with special attention to cases of gender-based, in particular domestic violence."

During the training, the participants got acquainted with the regulatory framework for preventing and combating gender-based violence, in particular domestic violence, studied the specifics of working with each age group of children, and in group work analyzed real cases encountered in working with minors.
